Maucus (Mock Caucus)
The Colorado Stonewall Democrats would like to invite you to a very special meeting where we will discuss how one can become a Democratic Delegate to the Democratic National Convention next year here in Denver, and where we will help you understand what happens on the all-important night of the Democratic Party Caucuses on February 5, 2008. Here are three very firm and critical dates:

November 3, 2007.....How to Become a Delegate and Mock Caucus (Maucus).

December 5, 2007.....Must be a registered Democrat by this date.

February 5, 2008.......Real Caucuses meet by precinct at 7:00PM.

The schedule of happenings for our November 3 event is as follows: 1) Discussion on how to become a Democratic Delegate to the Convention; 2) A brief break for Democratic Party time (Happy Hour at the hotel's main bar will continue until 8:00PM); and, 3) the Maucus where we will discuss what happens on Caucus night (includes an actual Mock Caucus where we will proceed as if it were the real night). Special guests are Carolyn Boller, Secretary of the Colorado Democratic Party, and Tish Maes, LGBT Delegate to the National Convention in 2004.

So, come join us on Saturday, November 3, from 4:30 to 7:30PM at the Renaissance (Stapleton) located at 38th Ave and Quebec. Time is of the essence, and we definitely need an RSVP so that we can decide whether we will need a larger space. Watch for a separate invitation which will allow you to access our RSVP system. We look forward to your joining us for this very important meeting.
