Thank you for signing up to receive emails and announcements from the Stonewall Democratic Club.
The Stonewall Democratic Club was founded by Morris Kight in 1975 as the political component to his 3 pronged approach for advancing the LGBTQ movement. The other 2 are the LGBT Center as a way to help and nurture our community and the Gay Pride Parade, not as a celebration, but as a protest march. These 3 elements, political, community safety, and activism became the cornerstones of a movement that is live and well to this day and has produced remarkable results.
But now, those achievements are under severe attack. If you have been paying attention at all, I do not need to tell you how severe this assault is. This is why we need to come together now, as a community, and become engaged. It is no longer if I should, it is now I will. There are leadership roles and plenty of committee seats available within the club for our members. All communities welcomed.
The Stonewall Democratic Club has its General Membership Meetings on the 4th Monday of each month and it is open to the public. We normally meet at the West Hollywood Auditorium at 647 N. San Vicente Blvd. 90048 at 7pm with a mixer at 6:30. We would love to see you there.
With your active involvement, the Stonewall Democratic Club will be a resounding presence during these troubling times. If you haven't already, make a pledge right now to do something about the deplorable people who have taken over DC.
We will stand united against any and all who think America is not for everyone!
Thank you again for signing up to receive our emails and we look forward to seeing you at one of our meetings!
