We are very excited for you or your organization to participate in the 2026 Santa Clarita Valley Fourth of July Parade, which begins at 9:00 a.m. We hope to make the experience as smooth and fun as possible so please read through the following information to ensure this happens.
Any issues the morning of should be directed to the Info Booth located in Veterans Plaza at the corner of Market Street and Newhall Avenue. Restrooms are also available at Veterans Historical Plaza. If you need to reach someone the morning of the parade please call 661-714-0023.
Staging Location
Your line up position is Division 5 Entry 17 . Your staging location is the Westside of Walnut Street.
Please look for your position sign on the tall green cones. The attached Division Map provides a visual of approximate staging locations.
Parade entry staging begins at 6:00 a.m. No vehicles will be allowed to enter after 7:45 a.m. All vehicles will enter on Market Street from Railroad Avenue. All participants in your entry should meet directly at your assigned staging location.
Drop Off
We highly suggest parade participants be dropped off. Individuals who need to drop off minors or elderly may park temporarily in the former Senior Center location on Market Street, see attached map, and walk participant to the staging location.
Vehicle Exit
Vehicles not participating in the parade must exit the staging area westbound on Market Street toward Lyons Avenue and the 5 Freeway. Attached is a map which shows the exit route to Lyons Avenue and the quickest route to the end of parade for participant pick up.
Waivers
Every parade participant must complete a liability waiver in order to participate. Parents or guardians must complete on behalf of minors. We strongly encourage you to start filling out your liability waivers in advance. They will be collected the morning of the parade. You will not receive your printed parade number until all waivers have been received.
Rules
As the point of contact for your entry, please familiarize yourself with the Parade rules and restrictions and share pertinent details with additional entry participants. If you have any questions about the parade visit our frequently asked questions. DO NOT throw anything off your float, vehicle or person. You are not allowed to switch drivers along the parade route. Failure to comply will result in your entry being banned from future participation.
Parade Number and TV Broadcast
Your printed parade number must be displayed on the first vehicle or person in your entry. SCVTV, Santa Clarita’s Community TV station will be covering the parade with multiple cameras, located on the right side of Main Street just past Market Street. Be sure to look to your right and wave to the cameras as you pass by and tune into SCVTV at 8 pm on July 4th to watch the parade! Watch the parade on Spectrum channel 20, AT&T U-verse Channel 99; Roku, Apple TV. Also streaming and on-demand at SCVTV.com and Facebook.
Winning Entries
Trophies will be awarded to the overall winner in the following three categories: Best Overall, Best Theme and Best Decorated. If your entry won, you will be contacted via phone the same day and you can pick up your trophy by 1:00 p.m. at The MAIN, 24266 Main Street.
End of Parade
At the conclusion of the parade all entries must follow the laws and rules of the road. No parade entries will be allowed back into the staging area after the parade is over. The Parade ends at Avenida Ignacio and pick up of parade participants will occur at Newhall Park. Please notify all participants in your entry that this is where pick up will occur and plan accordingly with parents or guardians. Parents and guardians can reference the attached map to get from the staging area to end of the parade.
