After a year of pause, the Calavera LGBTQ Festival is back—and more vibrant than ever. Join us in Boyle Heights as we celebrate Día de los Muertos through a queer Latine/x lens. This beloved tradition returns with powerful community altars, soul-stirring vendors, Folklórico and Aztec dance, and the iconic Mx. Calavera drag contest. More than just a festival, it’s a space where memory, culture, and queerness unite—where we honor our ancestors, uplift our stories, and move forward together.
Admission to the festival is free!!! Proceeds from sales at the event will support LEA’s life-changing work with LGBTQ youth and families. Come dressed in your finest calavera look, and help us make this a day to remember.
