In this webinar, Dr. Jeffrey Mariano will be featured to explain to attendees why health equity is foundational to patient care, focusing on removing barriers to ensure everyone can achieve their full health potential.  Key themes include addressing several social determinants, combating systemic racism, integrating equity into clinical practice, and utilizing data to improve, not just measure, outcomes. Dr. Mariano earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Berkeley, his M.D. from the University of California, San Francisco, and did his residency in internal medicine and fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles.
