Kicking off the new year, let's have a conversation about returning Science to our White House decision making. Joining us will be George T. Whitesides, CSO of Virgin Galactic, and Phil Larson, former Obama Science and Tech Advisor.
George T. Whitesides is the Chief Space Officer of Virgin Galactic, where he spearheads the development of future technologies, including high-speed point to point travel and orbital travel. He also serves as the Chair of the Company's Space Advisory Board.
Phil Larson – who was senior advisor for space and innovation in the Obama White House from 2009 to 2015 – joined NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 2020 as a strategic planner in the Planetary Science Directorate following three years at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Membership will vote on endorsement in: SD 30 special election and CADEM Chair races and other races at the discretion of the Political Vice President.
